JORDAN ROOTS ‐7 DIAS / 6 NOCHES

1º day: Ammán (30 KM)
Arriving in Amman, capital of Jordan. Visa formalities and transfer to hotel. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
2º day: Amman – Jerash – Amman (130 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit overview of the city, known as Philadelphia was made a tour of the centre, traditional markets, churches, mosques, Roman theatre, as well as residential quarters. Departure to Jerash, the ancient and modern capital of Jordan, originally built on seven hills and from the top of the citadel, one of the highest hills; you can have a splendid view of the old city. Visit the Citadel, Roman Theater, Archeological, Folklore Museums, and King Abdullah Mosque. Drive north of Amman to visit Jerash, the most beautiful and preserved Roman city in existence. Dinner and overnight-Amman.
3º day: Ammán – Desert Castle – Dead Sea – Amman (380 KM)
Breakfast. Full day tour to the Desert Castles, built by the Omayyad Caliphs of Damascus in the 8th century A.D. as hunting lodges. Wildly varied in architectural style: Qasr Al-Kharraneh, Qasr Amra and Qasr Al-Azraq. Continue to the Dead Sea – the lowest spot on earth. Time for bathing and relaxing, Dinner and overnight – Amman.

4º day: Ammán – Madaba – Monte Nebo – Kerak – Petra (310 KM)
Breakfast, full day visit through King’s Highway, the ancient Silk Road; stop in Madaba, home of the most famous Byzantine Mosaics and most of all the 6th century map of the holy places in the biblical world. Continue to Mount Nebo, with its spectacular view of the Holy Land. Then to Kerak to visit the Crusader Castle from the 12th century. Proceed to Petra for dinner and overnight.

5º day: Petra (5‐10 KM)
Breakfast. Full day sightseeing of the unique “rose-red” city of Petra, half as old as time, built by the Arab Nabateans who hewed their monumental tombs, palaces, temples and treasury from the desert rock’s sandstone in its’ natural hues of rose and gold. Dinner and overnight in Petra.

6º day: Petra ‐ Wadi Rum – Aqaba – Amman (520 KM) (With two options: 1 night or 1 night Aqaba with the Dead Sea to supplement a program of 8 Days / 7 Nights). Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the desert of Wadi Rum, one of the scenes from the film Lawrence of Arabia, and one of the most spectacular settings in the Middle East. This is a red desert sand, which, rising mountains of granite peaks and colorful red and gold. Tour (Tour classic) in 4x4 vehicles by imposing landscapes of approximately 2 hours. Departure at Aqaba with free time in the city and / or beach. (Entrance to the beach not included, direct payment by the customer). Output by road to Amman. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.


7º day: Ammán (30 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel in Amman. Airport transportation assistance.
